113 is a hell of a good run. RIP.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
RIP

How many Vets left now?
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I can't stand nothing dull

I can't imagine there's many more left.
Wow, talk about never giving up.

I wonder if we'll have one of those odd historical coincidences where the last survivors all die on that day.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:The hundred year anniversary of the damned start of it is in about five years.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

That would either be incredibly depressing or uplifting as they finally get the rest they deserve.Monroe wrote:I wonder if we'll have one of those odd historical coincidences where the last survivors all die on that day.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:The hundred year anniversary of the damned start of it is in about five years.

I'm thinking uplifting. It was the 25th Anniversary of the Constitution that three Presidents died right? Anyone remember?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:That would either be incredibly depressing or uplifting as they finally get the rest they deserve.Monroe wrote:I wonder if we'll have one of those odd historical coincidences where the last survivors all die on that day.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:The hundred year anniversary of the damned start of it is in about five years.
