Cost more to execute him them let him rot? *shrug*

Just cut off his net access and stick him in the hole.
Actually it's 50x cheaper to kill him, even by lethal injection (by far the most expensive, next up being electrocution) then keep him in a jail cell for the rest of his life, he needs food when he's alive, and new clothes, etc...

No. Just no.

To kill someone you need a special facility, appeals after appeals. Solitary confinement, guards ect ect ect.

It is cheaper to keep someone in prison for their whole life than to kill them.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

The bold is probably the most expensive bit.

Kriss said the sales could violate prison rules against using mail privileges to make money and running businesses from behind bars.
Kee could get tossed into solitary confinement or face loss of mail privileges.
It's unclear if anybody has bought Kee's "rape cards" or other items.
The state Crime Victims Board may try to recover any proceeds under the Son of Sam law.

When I was in corrections the inmates didn't have net access, from the article it looks like he is doing this by mail. And they could do this, Lemuel Smith has been in 'solitary' for 15-20 years.

Correct.

Can inmate mail be censored?

I know it is in the Commonwealth but I wasn't sure about the US. So this never should have happened then, someone dropped the ball.

If an inmate is in general pop it's not. Incoming mail is checked for contraband and to make sure its not coming from another inmate.

I always find ways to be further disgusted by my species. What the rapist/murderer did is indescribably awful; but to add to that the fact that there is somebody else willing to profit by merchandising it is incomprehensible.

How about a cement mixer. Much cheaper.
