It would be alot easier for me to figure this thing out if my friggin internet would get hooked up at home. The past couple of weeks, the boss has been all over "non work related" internet use. I'm having to sneak right now!

Sadly I will not be around for a while as I'm going on vacation and there is no internet there. But I had wanted to say but didn't get around to it that the beast probably doesn't actually exist we just think it does because of our fears. It is probably something harmless like a dead parachutist. And, a signal fire is the key to being rescued.
