Okay, just how in the fuck are they going to do that? Maybe it escaped the guys doing this show, but these groups don't exactly have a standard weapons loadout.
More importantly, what era IRA? War of Independance they were well equiped guerilla fighters. Civil War era they were proffesional soldiers. Troubles era and they're little more than thugs with access to guns and exlposives.

Right after 9/11 I used to say we should HIRE the IRA to go get those SOBs. After all, if you want to catch a cheater, you hire a cheater, right?

Hell, they'd probably do it. Most of the current IRA are just Catholic terrorists wanting to blow up those of the wrong religion.
