I'll get something up of us arriving at the Asgard ship later on.

K. I'll figure out what the hell an Asgard ship is in the meantime.
I trust it's not a way for Norse gods to evacuate Valhalla, right?

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
well guys, I think I'm going to drop out of this RP, at least for now...I'm just not able to follow everything, especially not having followed many of the series we're borrowing from. I'll leave it up to you if you want to keep Iceman around as an NPC, or I can post a deathscene when we try and take over the Asguard ship. I just don't think it's right for me to keep in the RP when I'm not participating at all, and I don't see it turning around anytime soon.
Just let me know what you'd like to do with Iceman and I'll do what I need to do.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Staplic - sorry, man, but do what you need to. If you want to just check in once in a while and get in when you can, I'm sure that's fine.
Rochey - thanks.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Basically, given the battle scene Rochey wrote, the Asgard ship is about equal to an upgraded Galaxy-class, except without all the extraneous crap.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
I would treat the Asgard ship like a Sov. They are the top ships of their size in the SG universe.

That's a fair assessment. Sorry I didn't post links in the thread, was beginning to fall asleep and was writing it while I was doing a raid in WoW so I hope it all makes senseDeepcrush wrote:I would treat the Asgard ship like a Sov. They are the top ships of their size in the SG universe.

Sorry to see you go Straplic :-/ I'm trying to pick known but not completely known universes and universes with a low learning curve.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
In terms of power, a Bilisknir should have been able to take on the same number of Ha'taks we did while taking slightly less damage, I'd say.

Thanks for the help - at the very least, it looks much more like an Imperial ship for Ashok's taste.

Yeah I've always been fond of Asgarde ship designs. Though I never understood why they weren't saucers since the Asgarde themselves look like stereotypical aliens.Mikey wrote:Thanks for the help - at the very least, it looks much more like an Imperial ship for Ashok's taste.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
You know, I have a feeling that simply explaining things to the Asgard would work better. Knowing them, they'd just ask for an hour to evacuate.
Staplic, sorry to see you go.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
Perhaps. I wasn't trying to dictate action so much as simply write from the character's POV. To a Space Marine, "peaceful negotiation" is simply an attack with the odds in your favor.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:You know, I have a feeling that simply explaining things to the Asgard would work better. Yeah I'm thinking it wouldn't be a stretch by any means for the Asgarde to want to send their own team to try to stop the Reality Bomb.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
A Bilisknir was about an even match for 3 Ha'taks. An O'Neill was able to take out a trio of Ha'taks before they even damaged the shields.Rochey wrote:In terms of power, a Bilisknir should have been able to take on the same number of Ha'taks we did while taking slightly less damage, I'd say.
Agreed, it would make sense. I would figure that they would send their best. Thor, his modified O'Neill, and a whole lot of kick ass.Monroe wrote:Yeah I'm thinking it wouldn't be a stretch by any means for the Asgarde to want to send their own team to try to stop the Reality Bomb.
