Or it could be rationalised by the fact that it was decided by dice.

Seriously, who kills the voted is decided by dice, just as Lazar being on watch when Tsu was axed. Please don't make descisions based off such.

But we already know Rochey is human, so your death wouldn't be useful to them... If your a founder though, you wouldn't be able to kill yourself either, so that may be why you didn't die, and since MM&I is dead now, we won't ever know that way will we.
