Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
Well, I'm dead again. Big surprise.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

At least it was creative.

Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
I know it's early days yet, but I'd like to volunteer to mod the next game. I've got a new idea I want to try out that'll put a new spin on it, and could be fun.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"
Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
I am glad for knew ideas...
Deep is gonna love this part.To put it bluntly, we need to just shoot whoever's the most suspect of us all and see where that leads us. If the victim is a Founder, then those who vote not to kill him are possible Founder suspects. If the victim is human, then whoever vote for his death is a suspect.
So, who first?

Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
I'm pretty sure I know who the medic is. Not completely sure who the founders are, and no clue who the other special guys are.
But this is getting to be a good game, hopefully we can keep expanding it to have more players and end up even having more factions eventually.

Well. I've just done the first name-dropping.
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
Should we take your comments as a claim that you are the medic?

Here's where the game gets really good.

Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
It's not so much an RP as it is "find out who the bad guys are and kill 'em!"
The Trek setting just makes the original game somewhat difficult to rationalise. And also lowers our IQ by about 80 points. I think that's in the contract somewhere.
Although I could refute your point by suggesting that since Founders can change from solids to liquids to gasses, burning any replicated blood wouldn't be of use since the Founder could just turn it to vapour, leaving us none the wiser.

When part of a founder is seperated it turns back to its liquid form. If it is set on fire then we can see the reaction.

Yes, but according to the rules of the game, that's much too simple.Deepcrush wrote:When part of a founder is seperated it turns back to its liquid form. If it is set on fire then we can see the reaction.

Re: Find the Founders VIII - Comments
The game is to find out who the founders are and that is a method that works so why can't we use it.
