Really? I'm a New York suburbanite, and I visit Manhattan often (and Brooklyn less often,) but I enjoy trips to Boston on occassion.

Nah, I just don't like Boston, I love NYC, as does my mom.

It's not NYC, but the Freedom Trail is fascinating if you're into history, Charlestown is nice, the aquarium is a good one, and the Combat Zone... from what I'm told, I had good times there back in the day...

Cool cool.

I'm still of the opinion that we could do without Boston and New York. I mean, one holds the worlds largest supply of Lawyers and the other holds the UN.

Yeah, but there's good parts, too. Maybe a more specific cleansing is in order, rather than glassing the cities.

*EDIT* You can have L.A., though - there's no good parts.

About time on the rail. I may also be a wee bit partial to New York since I live there (my ire is turning west and south toward Philly now for more baseball-related reasons). I would take a nice helping of SoCal weather rather than the slop we get stuck with here though!
