Marks got a point. How many times have the dock workers played an important part in the storyline? You can participate in the union strikes and then if you're lucky not get sucked out into space a few episodes later.

Yeah... I could get into that. Besides, I could always volunteer for the Anla'shok a year or two down the road, or see if Garibaldi's taking applications for station security when they boot the Nightwatch out.
