Well, she called me out of the blue last night and we had dinner. It was COMPLETELY innocent, but damn, it was SOOO much fun. We were sitting at a park at midnight talking, and got caught in the rain. Neither one of us wanted to move, so we sat there for an hour and got drenched.

Now she wants to take me out for my birthday in a couple of weeks.

Sweet.
Good deal, man. :)

"What's the latest in people's lives?"

I got 4 new scores on Left 4 Dead.
I earned a Desisive Victory on the Navel Demo for Empire TW for the third time without a single loss.
I got banned for three days from DITL.
I am building Battle Fleet Gothic gaming group for the Glen Burnie Battle Bunker.
I am supporting the building of a Battle Fleet Gothic online campaign.
I said something so nice that Jessbird was almost in tears.
I brought my niece her favorite cookies and saw my dads side the family.
I met up with an old friend who I hadn't heard from in 5 years!
I punched said friend in the gut for not keeping in touch.

I'm on 'baby countdown' now for our firstborn. The due date is tomorrow so I'm sitting here at work expecting a phone call any minute. However, at the same time I'm also expecting for him or her (don't know which) to be as late as they possibly can be as both me and the Mrs were a fortnight late, so it may be another 11 to 12 days. Exciting times though :)

Mikey, was it also you who was expecting as well?

How could you not find out?

I'd find out as soon as i could. Although technically I hope they have designer babies by the time I start having Kids so I'll know even before its around...
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

As I've said before, I plan on cloning myself. :)

Ha Ha, yes, it was entirely planned and expected and I've been with the DLW (dear lady wife) for 10 years and married for nearly 5. Something tells me my life will change unrecognisably very shortly...

Tea Man, in answer to your question about not finding out, when we were offered the opportunity to know the sex of the baby, I had no strong feelings either way and the wife didn't either. We thought it would be a nice surprise and as one midwife said, during labour, the woman pushes that bit harder to find out if it's a he or a she :)
