Well, assisting a terrorist organisation that's been carbombing one of your closest allies for decades isn't exactly something you tend to talk about too much. :wink:

And it's not too surprising. There're a lot of Irish emigrants and decendents over in the US. It'd be a great place to get support. Hell, back in the twenties, when the IRA first began the War of Independance, Sinn Féin's leader (Eamonn De Valera) went to the US to try and raise funds and support.

I'm sure Seafort or someone else could give you more details than myself. I only know the basics.

Now I'm rather pissed off; innocent people were shot in this attack. An assault on a military force is one thing, but when civilians are injured or killed, it truly is terrorism.

It's terrorism regardless of who's being attacked. Unless you think the nightclub bombing in the eighties, or the attacks on the USS Cole and the Pentagon were perfectly justified. :roll:
