BioShock is pretty awesome, and rather different. So, it gets the approval ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: XBox 360 or PS3
Well, I tend to like those genre games. Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Role Playing are right up there. But I have a problem with first person shooter games. I GET FRIGGIN' MOTION SICK AND DIZZY!!!! I need games to have a 3rd person view. (or a suggestion how to get around hurling 20 minutes into the game)

Mass Effect and the Gears of War series should do you well then, both are third person. Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 are both FPS.Mark wrote:Well, I tend to like those genre games. Re: XBox 360 or PS3
Mass Effect is hands down the best RPG I have ever played, the plot is pretty standard and its changed the "fetch" quests to "explore and kill" but it all comes together in a neat little package. The music is also excellent and a big part of the games claim to awesome.Mark wrote:How's me? I already wrote down those suggestions on a handly little post it
Edit: Oh, I should mention that FO3 can be played in third person but it sucks major ass that way.

FO3's Third person is identical to Oblivions. A bit of an afterthought. It is alright, but you cant hope to aim anything.

That is my gripe, it is pointless because you can't aim. Even a snap shot will go horribly wide.Reliant121 wrote:FO3's Third person is identical to Oblivions. A bit of an afterthought. It is alright, but you cant hope to aim anything.

Oh, a word of warning. GoW 2 lasted me a day and a half and GoW is looking to last me about the same, there very short. Though there also very excellent.Mark wrote:How's me? I already wrote down those suggestions on a handly little post it
Re: XBox 360 or PS3
Well, I've got it and my first three games. (Selection was VERY limited)
The Force Unleashed
Fable 2 (which I just started)
Assassins Creed
They LOOK interesting enough

Canonicity aside, Force Unleashed at least looks fun.

Force Unleashed is a lot of fun. But it's best if you just pretend it has nothing to do with Star Wars at all.

Dude, trust me, that's the least objectionable thing in the whole game.

I would rent it if I were you. It's basically God of War without swords on chains or T&A.Mark wrote:It better be friggin' cool then
