A boat cruises alongside you, and tows it.

Even though the force of gravity would decrease, it would still be quite significant. Remember that there is still gravity in space (actually every single particle in the universe exerts a gravitational force on every other particle in the universe . . . ) but objects have an apparent weightlessness due to being in freefall.

If there wasn't gravity in space . . . how would the moon orbit the Earth?
Yes there is gravity in space, and gravity would still affect the person, but it wouldn't bear near as much on that person. as Thorin put 1/16 the gravity would be expierenced.

PS thanks for the math Thorin :D

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

She looked up "New York to Paris" on Google Maps a while back and took it literally. (have they fixed that yet?) :P

Maybe those routes are for all the people with cars that transform into submarines.

...Oh, crap. Disregard that.

Brace yourselves, folks: It was all a big hoax. She only swam about 250 miles.

If thats true, which wouldnt suprise me, I'm suprised it took so long to come out.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Well, that explains how someone could swim the Atlantic.
