First off, you never say what you want. Second, the best use of any torture is for confermation. Spend a few days with someone trapped in a room. Never ending suffering, not just pain but more importantly discomfort when they aren't being tortured. Don't say anything, don't ask anything. Tell them to give you something and you'll stop for a while. Not forever, but for a while, so long as what they give you is true. People tend to start telling you everything they can just to get a break. Believe it or not, its harder to break a woman then it is a man.

Oh, I'm no expert in torture or interrogation but this does not surprise me at all. Women are emotionally stronger than Men.
