I think his comment is still relevant. To me it just strikes as a Vietnam era attitude. Should be blaming the politicans who force them in such hellish conditions not the soldiers. A lot of these guys and gals are kids. While its an atrocity if they do kill innocents it is a mental disorder as real as any war related one that causes people to commit heinous acts under the kind of intense pressure living in a war zone and not knowing who your friends or enemies are can cause.

Canadian soldiers in general don't ask for any recognition or kudos for doing what is expected of us, giving up family, friends, moving around, deploying to shitholes. That's the job, why would that require anything but a paycheck, pension and the occasional thanks in return? And I never have nor has many of the US armed forces. I was making a comment in regaurds to your perceived attack on those of us that do serve. The attitude that America has to its troops as of now is mostly one of we understand that its not your alls fault your over there, we understand what you have to do, we understand what you gave up. The ire of the people is rightly directed at the politians and those that have screwed up, who sent us over there, and who put themselves over the greater good. Also your comment can easily be taken as a dismissal based on some of your past comments about the American Military, if that wasn't the intent then no harm was done and lets just put the issue to rest before this goes any further.

Now I am not a mod, but I feel that we should have a little curb on something. Let's just leave the comments on anyone's military out of it.
