I'm guessing publicity, but they forget these kids have to go through life with these names, at least till they are old enough to change them on there own.

I know that someone called their kids superman and wonderwoman smith.

And i think someone called their child Depressed cupboard cheesecake...cant remember the source

other examples I know of: Cassandra (a prophet from ancient Troy, always brouight bad news, nobody ever listened to her for that), @ (Yes, it's a sign as a name), Tula does the hula (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1933&hilit=tula)

Penn Jillette named his daughter: Moxie CrimeFighter Jillette.

His son has a more normal name: Zolten Penn Jillette

Frank Zappa, IIRC, has a son named Dweezil and a daughter named Moon Unit. However, Frank Zappa was never representative of a person with a rational mindset. And, I believe a court order has been established to rename Tula does the Hula.

Becausethe land of the sheep has apparently many people with the same level of intelligence ethics and common sense. New Zealand outlanded names: Fish and Chips, Yeah Detroit, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit. Even worse is that Violence and Number 16 bus shelter ARE allowed.

Teaos thought of his forum name by looking at a cup of tea and putting 'os' behind the word tea. It was his own stupidity that gave him such an apparently horrible name.
