Mammoths...would PETA have a cow over mammoths living in captivity?

Re: Paleolithic Park
What would PETA think of us bringing an extinct species back to life, only to put it in zoos and eat it?

Could we reasonably argue that we're simply "growing" our own food? Granted in a lab rather than a farm, but still.......................

Re: Paleolithic Park
I'd say it was more eco-friendly to eat an extinct species rather than a current one... after all, you're not taking anything out of the current ecosystem, nor herding a previously wild species.

I'd like it if they managed to bring the Dodo back; they were supposedly really tasty.

Re: Paleolithic Park
I thought the dodos were hunted to extinction more for the fact that they were so easily caught by sailors, rather than the fact that they were really that great.

What prehistoric animal would make the best eating?
Bronto-burgers sounds tasty.
Sabre-Tooth Tiger stew might be good too.

I hope I can one day eat a T-Rex steak. I have a feeling that thing was tasty.

Should we do it?
Condors, Condors are on the verge of extinction-- wait wrong movie.
I'm all for cloning them. I want a mammoth burger before I die! Probably be a little expensive. But we know humans can eat them because they were such a huge source of our diet for thousands of years. Why not? And if you get them trained enough you can ride one at the reinessance festival!

Re: Paleolithic Park
Well, you could just have an elephant burger. Probably tastes like mammoth. Less fur on that burger too.
