Yes, they will, at least we shall be entertained.
Re: FTFIV Discussion Thread
And as soon as people start to post, I'll will post my two suspicions (as I always do). Lets see if I'm right this time too.

Re: FTFIV Discussion Thread
I spent lunchtime contemplating all sorts of imaginative and unpleasant ways in which a Founder could kill people.
So, yeah, it's going to be bloody. I have one particularly violent death in mind, and one or two other ideas.
By the way, I was thinking of changing one of the rules somewhat.
Up 'till now we've played the security guy as totaly anonymous, even if he gets involved in defending someone else or himself. However, I don't think this makes much sense. It'd be dark, but not that dark that the attacking Founders couldn't discern who was standing in their path. Plus, any fight that's serious enough to hold off a Founder is going to be enough to wake everybody up and attract their immediate attention, particularly that of the guy whose life he just saved.
As such, I think it would make more sense if the security guy's identity is discovered once he succesfuly defends someone (either someone else or himself) against the Founders.
What do you lot think?
BTW: Darkness falls on Monday.

Re: FTFIV Discussion Thread
I think it makes more sense your way, BUT by successfully defending someone, the security guy puts himself out of use. The following round he'd almost HAVE to defend himself, because he'd be a target.
But that could prove an interesting strategy too 8)
By the way, I REALLY like replacing the scientist with the Sec 31 Founder Hunter. That rocks, and makes a bit more sense to me too. After all, Billy Blueshirt is the most powerful member of the humans team, but would get beat up in a bar fight?

Re: FTFIV Discussion Thread
Given that the humans have won evertime up 'till now, I'm trying to make it somewhat harder for them. Making things a bit more realistic should do that. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

You'll discover... darn I can't even tell you without... arggg!!!
![Mad :x](./images/smilies/icon_mad.gif)
By the end, no matter what happens, you'll find out what I meant.
You may even find out the first night, depending on the Founders' target is (and I am not saying this to make you think I am a Founder or not; as you may have noticed, in the last game where I was the scientist, I always spoke of the scientist, and everyone else, in third person. So never assume anything by what I say).

Oh.............did any of the mods archive games 2 and 3 yet?

Re: FTFIV Discussion Thread
I think they did, but I haven't checked yet.
Anyway, onto my suspicions.
It has been a tradition of mine to state what my gut says in the discussion threads for each game early on (and so far have been 3 for 3, or six for six if you count Founders). So I will do so here:
I suspect Bob and Mark. No reasons why, this is just an experiment. I have to be wrong eventually.
These are baseless suspicions, so please no one take them to mean anything.
[edit] Nope, they are not archived.
