I'm just bitter because Mott beat my high score and I know there's no way I'll ever get that far again.
There are patches where you get more of one type of image then another (say, more personnel then planets or more ships then nebulae), but it always seemed totally random to me. If Mr. Kenney is hinting that there might be a method to that madness, then maybe Mr. Mott's days at the top are numbered just like mine were...
Mr Kenney, or rather Mr Kennedy (Ian will do). Is simply saying that it seems that at certain times the random number generator seems to kick out sequences that don't give planets that often. This is probably true as most computer random number generators use the time as a seed.
Played it a bit ago. Got up to four without seeing a planet. But it was the water one from Voyager (probably the only one out of this solar system that I remember). I got it right. But then the next one was a TOS planet... I lost.
Stupid planets, all look so alike.

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
Just a thought, Ian............different levels of difficulty would be GREAT. Don't know how hard that would be to do though. Like say cadet, no nebulas or planets..........officer, put in the nebulas, and Captain hit 'em all.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.
Dangit. Talking about this makes me want to go play it.
