Analysis

Warning spoilers:
All in all the best episode of Lower Decks that we have seen. The crew despite their quirks actually start to grow up and work together. Freeman is moved to Star Base 80 to oversee its new role as controller of the permanent interdimensional gateway. Ransom is promoted to Captain the Cerritos. He appoints Becket and Mariner as provisional first officer. One day me may even choose one to become first officer. Rutherford decides to get rid of his oculus and rely on own brain from now on.
